Kotori is a monster working as a guard in Red Tulip town. She is a serious young lady who prefers to work alone, and tends to be easily bothered. She was friends with Aria since their teen years. She uses red spears as her weapon, and her ability is unknown. She used to be in a relationship with Solis.

Appearance

Kotori is the second shortest character in the main cast, after Five. Despite her age, she stands a few inches to over a foot lesser than those around her. She has bright red hair, cut shoulder length, and tied up on one side into a side-tail. Her bangs are styled into a hime-cut. She has bright red eyes as other monsters do, but lacks the same sharp teeth. Her horn is in a unique jagged shape. She wears a simple work outfit consisting of a poofy sleeveless cyan blue dress with a high collar, and a red sash tied around her waist. Under it, she wears white tights and red buckle shoes.

When she was in her early teens, she was more cheerful and had a more youthful appearance. She had longer hair, reaching around her waist, with the a side-tail in the same position as now. She wore a poofy sleeveless teal blue dress with a high collar, and a brown sash tied around it. She also wore fingerless long brown gloves, and wore the same white tights and red buckle shoes.

After Nino attacked her in Red Tulip, she briefly wore a bandage around the wounds on her arm, supplied by the maids of Red's Inn.

Etymology

Kotori (小鳥) is a Japanese word meaning 'little bird.'
